So this drops one night in Karazhan, and everyone was like WTF man, and one of our Priests said it was for Smite spam spec. Is there really a Smite spam spec?

Smite spam can be achived, but a smiting priest will go oom very fast. I did some instances as holy dps, and trust me... it's very mana intensive.

You can deal lots of damage and fast, especially if you have high crit rating. You can do 1500/2200 damage on a smite, and get SoL also, which is free dps. It's only good for trash (high burst damage, no care for mana).
