Best and most effective BG build?Follow

#1 Jan 29 2008 at 9:47 AM Rating: Decent
I hit 70 Last week and I've been grinding the BGs with a 30/31 Mace AR spec and I'm pretty far down on the chart for damage and I was thinking about switching to a 41/20 Mut/DW spec because the first set has a 10 energy bonus stacked with vigor, just sounds like a good idea. this is my current build...

Yeah they're kinda random in some spots, if you feel really strong about Maces let me know how i should switch up some points. As for a Mut build I was looking at

I already got a couple Ced's Carvers from the bank and before I go through with it I could use some suggestions, from people who know what they're talking about. I don't want to hear COMBAT SOWRDS IS TEH PWNAGE ZOMG!

But seriously, it's bg, you dont exactly need THE pvp spec to do well (which is maces btw)

But tbh, I could go into a BG as 0/0/0 and still own.

Screenshot or it didn't happen.

I second that. Make a video with your talent selection screen up the entire time.

EDIT: And Include the part where you are at the trainer resetting your points.

I imagine that a nice Hemo/Maces hybrid would do rather well in BGs. 11/26/24, or something similar.

You guys are kidding, right? I have ~400 resilience and 10k HP. Against no resilience targets I can own them in 2-3 SSs.

Even if I couldn't, I could find the two or three keyboard turners in a BG and just film myself owning them while /rofl'ing.

My preference for BGs is subtlety. It may not be top DPS, but being able to shadowstep is great in the chaos of BGs, plus the extra preparation for extended evasion, etc.

Also, for those knock down, drag out to the limit fights, cheat death + dirty deeds is downright evil >:)

For BGs ShS is fairly good because of the burst it can put out against low HP/low Resiliency targets.

GUYS, why so violent?

I don't like to spec for damage to kill things, or gear good weapons to kill things. Such activities are violent and disturbing.

I just like to run around on my rogue picking flowers, fishing, collecting pretty minerals, and cooking. Then I sell the stuff I collect on AH. When I log out, I always find a comfy empty bed somewhere, and /lay.

You guys scare me with your "HOW CAN I KILL STUFF BETTAR!"

I LOVED this build for BG's. Simple. Easy. You always seem to have cooldowns when you need them.

I wasn't kidding when I said shadowstep.

The mobility is awesome. It also allows you to pull off some interesting stunts. Cheat Death can is extremely powerful if you can get a healer.

The dps isn't all there, but with most people in BG wearing crap gear, it doesn't really matter.
