2 NE hunters as 2v2 arena team...Follow

We are 2 NE hunters and we have a decent 2v2 arena team..that means we have a team rating 1600..We are both BM and we stealth ,wait and attack a single target..Thats works nice...unless his a palla..
I am thinking if we both changed to SV/MM and have 4 wyvern stings(40 sec cc),if it is better..Can any1 survival tell me if they 2 SV/MM hunters can kill any opponent in 40 sec?Do you believe that it will work better than 2 BM?
The tactic we lay 2 traps, stealth, wyvern a single target all the time and attack the other may make a difference?
Hunters have problems in 2v2 arena fights..And i think the best team with a hunter is another hunter...

I would think SV takes a hit as a primary spec for PvP due to the reduced trap durations for PvP. You can also reach much of the low hanging fruit in SV fairly easy, making it a popular secondary spec.

I suppose being able to wyvern sting and clear CD, then wyvern sting a target that trinkets out of the first one could be a big advantage in 2v2 though. I'd think it's less of a factor in 5v5.

So, I dunno, first look seems to show nothing hideously awful about SV, but then again, it might not play well. That loss of trap time could be a big drawback...

I'd think BM would be best 2v2 spec as you can deal with fears and CC attempts better. MM is probably lukewarm at best for 2v2 since it has more anti-clothie focus and you might not have any clothies in the opposing team.

Also remember the lower the number of players, the more important those little buddies you have at your side become, another upside for BM.

I also run out and Stealth/Prowl to start. Lets me get my bearings for a second.

The CC abilities is nice in PVP if you're SV, but I don't think you're going to be throwing out enough DPS to take the guys down quick enough for it to matter.

My SV/MM NE hunter is currently doing 2v2 with my MM/SV NE hunter friend, and we do decently. I think a big improvement would come hand-in-hand with him switching to BM/MM, but we dont really care that much and he enjoys MM.

Anyways, I would suggest that ONE of you switches to SV for wyvern and Readiness, meaning one of you breaks stealth first (the BM hunter) and dps and fears go to him. The other SV hunter breaks second and pops Wyvern -> Rapid Fire -> trap, then pop readiness and repeat. Those 2 rapid fires can be a huge help to the "lacking SV dps."

Readiness excited the hell out of me when i switched to SV months ago, but i dropped it a few weeks after the respec for more dps and scatter shot from the MM tree. I miss it in 2v2 for repopping Wyvern and Rapid Fire, but it was also nice to have a second deterence in a 3v3 or a bg... raiding specs kill all my pvp dreams.

Hope that helps, and enjoy pissing some teams off when they expect 2 stealthed rogues :D
