its another one of those build threads.

i seem to be getting sucked into arena a lot more even tho pvp isn't really my cup of tea, ive just been sucked into a 5s team with a few guildies.. think its like a pally/priest then rogue/spriest/lock.. so we'll see how we do even tho we're all really pvers.

i feel it is now time to give Shs a try to improve shutting down healers and what not, so i've looked at a few builds of the "known rogues" and a lot seem to be 20/x/41 but im thinking i'll go a bit deeper into sub, 17/x/44.

heres the build im thinking about speccing too.

it is the very first build i've gone with ghostly strike and im still really unsure if i should go with it or put that one point elsewhere like sleight of hands of finish off EA.

i book marked mongooses Shs thread and will be reading and rereading it a lot in the next few days to get some kind of idea how to play Shs but advice on the build/anything else would be great... also thinking about grinding out a s1 MH fist wpn even tho it has a lower low end.

ShS is miserable in 5s. Go mut.

Your 5s team is going to fail completely with the squishiest 3 classes as damage, unless your lock is SL/SL, and even then, you're going to get rolled fast.

Basically the way it'd work is focus your spriest, burn your disc priest, then burn you. That's the first 10 secs of the arena match.

If you want to succeed as a lock/rogue/spriest/pally setup, you need an elemental shaman or maybe a frost mage.

I can't really think of any other way to get past how squishy that team is without going to a 4 DPS setup.

EDIT: But yeah, you need to be ~49 points into 'Sin, for the poison and other relevant talents. 5/5 Vile and 5/5 Imp Poisons are pretty much a must in 5s, though you could probably also go 41/20/0 and be successful too.
