Hey everyone,
Ive been raiding a little bit, and I noticed that my Prot spec I created when I turned lvl 70 needs to be modified for raiding..
Alot of it due to, having points in sheildbash and revenge alot of mobs cant be silenced or stuned. So I want to try and put my points elsewhere to be more helpful.

This is the spec I am thinking of trying out:
Prot Spec Test

I have 1 point left in that spec, I cant decide if I want to do Heroic Strike, Iron Will, Or Booming Voice.

What do you guys think of the spec? and if you like it where do you think I should stack the last point?

This is my Tank

Thanks in advance guys!

how does having 2 points in bloodrage and 3 in TM make it prot?

especially for raids??? 41/15/5 will not cut if for prot in raids, or even dps in raids.

are you MT or OT?

if you plan on tanking ANY boss lvl mobs, you need to have imp shield block.

MT spec should be a 8/5/43 style Full Prot spec.

OT spec should be a 17/44/0 style Full DPS spec.

Since it looks like your going 2h spec, use a 33/28 or 31/30 build. Slam is better than MS for PvE. It's been argued many times in many other forums as to why. And I don't feel like regurgitating it again.

how about

http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/classes/warrior/talents.html?150003000000000000000000500000000000000000000055511033002103531351

if you find yourself using shield wall at least every night [for progression] the extra 3 seconds is QUITE nice.

where as... imp bloodrage isn't really needed. I like imp HS for rage dumping so I'd switch those 2 points around

the one main reason I liked the imp bloodrage is I can start off with 2 sunders or a sunder and a slam.

And when I find myself running guildmates though heroics I am always in need of rage, I dont find myself getting hit as much with the better the gear gets, so gaining rage has become a bit harder.

I do like the build you posted though, I will wait for some replies and see what everyone comes up with.

Thanks!

I personally like imp. bloodrage, though you shouldn't ever be sundering outside of using a mouseover macro to sunder CCd mobs once you have devastate. You can effectively take it off your bars. I'd personally drop imp. D stance as it doesn't serve any real purpose in the level of content you're up against right now, but it's your call. That talent is 25 man territory.

I'd personally suggest getting imp. HS and 2/5 imp. demo shout. If you don't want to move any talent points and keep imp. D stance, at least put that last point into imp. demo or imp. HS. Booming voice is terribad, Iron Will is hardly game breaking.
