I'm spec'd BM, and up until Saturday night was wearing the S1 helm with a Relentless Earthstorm Diamond(+12agi, 3% crit) and +12 AP gem.

I ran Kara saturday and rolled on the Cowl of Defiance

I'm not hit capped, so I can use the +hit and extra AP.. but, my AGI dropped and my crit went to just under 20%.... I also using the Glyph of Ferocity on both

I'm wearing the Cowl of Defiance right now... did I make a good choice? I seems like my dps will go up, but I haven't played much since getting it to really see.

That's a tough call, since that gem can make a big difference. I'd suggest loading your character into Cheeky's spreadsheet and playing around with it.

Here's a Link to the spreadsheet. You must have either Open Office or Microsoft Excel

If you're having trouble using the "Upload from Armory" option, you'll have to go into the program's options and lower your security on Macros.

Once you get that spreadsheet figured out, it is the single most handy tool for your hunter. Hands down. It will save you thousands of gold in gems, enchants and gear.

How in the world do you link that excel sheet. I use that spreadsheet for all gear is a close call when it comes to upgrades, and I want to link it to others, but I don't know how, since I don't get a URL it loads directly to open/download and then to excel.

If you're using Firefox web browser (which everyone should. Internet Explorer is the worst browser in the history of ever.), right click on the link and select "Copy link location"

If you are unfortunate enough to be using Internet Explorer, right click the link and select "Copy Shortcut" which is the worst wording possible for that kind of thing.
