Please tell me English is your eighth language or something. There really is no best race for any class IMO. To learn more interesting and IMPORTANT things please... READ THE STICKIES!

Taurens have a pretty nice margin of being best (IMHO).

5% more HP is probably the best Effective Health modifier for all the races. It's 5% more HP which depending on your Armor, gives you more than just 5% Effective Health.

Kungen is on the EU armory, if your having problems looking his profile up.

Is it just me or is the OP's font in an odd color?

It's not as clearcut as it used to be, though. Tauren have a massive effective health boost, but Orcs get Expertise (which is rare as hell, and incredibly good; with an Axe, they effectively get 47 Hit Rating and 20 Dodge Rating; stat-point wise, that's as good as ~100 STA... or 1000 HP, which is as much as a Tauren gets for stat points) plus Stun Resistance.

don't forget blood fury for orcs also.

47 Hit Rating + 20 Dodge Rating = 67 Stat Points. Stamina goes in at 1.5x, so 67 Stat Points = 100 Stamina in terms of item values.

It's slightly more complicated than that, but it's fairly accurate. It's a huge boost for Orcs compared to where they used to be.

oh, does expertise also give you a chance to dodge? never knew that.

No, but it reduces the number of parries you feed your opponents. After TClap most (albeit not all) tanking weapons swing about as fast as the boss does.

1% Less Parries means you take .5% Less incoming attacks (Parry = ~50% haste on next swing), I just translated that into Dodge for ease of demonstration.

aha, yeah I was wondering about it for a while... I guess I prefer more technical demonstrations over simplified things :D

I am a Human Warrior - I chose this just due to (at the time) their was the +5 to swords and Daggers.
I belive now its Expertise with a Weapon.

So For a warrior on the alliance side I would chose the human just for this.

If I was doing a stricly PVP toon, I might go with the nightelf because I think shadowmeld is cool as hell, I like the idea of being "stealthed" and then charging out of it at someone.

They also have a +dodge rating.

But I dont remember how much.

Name: Xiaolinmonk
Realm: Wildhammer

I chose dwarf, because of stoneform, it's not really the best, but it helps you out with other warriors and rogues. But for the best for tanking or something, i'd go with tauren cause of the 5% to health bonus.

dont forget war stomp for tauren as well. very helpful ability wen tanking or even just solo questing

I agree to then Nelf Shadowmeld-charge combo. It sounds awesome! I roll a dwarf, and I must say, Stoneform is great against rogues. However, I think of stoneform more as a PvE ability, and not PvP. But it has it's uses :D
