i was wondering if it is at all within reach to have a macro :

pop me our of form (say cat)
equip my Rejuve idol
Cast Rejuv on myself
re-equip my DPS Idol
and put me back into cat form

is that at all doable? does it make any sence? if so ..er how? hehe tanks for the help before hand

It is possible but not very usefull, since both the cast and both equips will invoke the global cooldown, which means you will spend a lot of time doing nothing. Also this can't be put into a one-button macro. You would have to click it 3 times. It would go something like this:

/equip [stance:3] "name of healing idol"
/cast [target=self] Rejuvenation
/equip [nostance] "name of dps idol"
/cast [nostance] Cat Form

Leave out the brackets (") from idol name. I'm not actually sure if this will work past equipping the last idol, or if it will keep trying to equip the same idol. Try it and find out :)

If you're wanting this for in-combat, it probably won't work. I'm not sure about idols, but I know you can't change trinkets while in combat.

Further, Rejuvenation is a pretty soft/slow heal, and popping one on yourself won't usually be enough healing to deal with any situation that's bad enough that you'd need the urgency of such a macro. Even with a +heal weapon and idol equipped.

You'd be better off with a macro that shifts you out, chugs a pot, shifts you back in. Since chugging a pot doesn't initiate a global cooldown it's both a single click and gets you back into form instantaneously.

/use Super Healing Potion
/cast [nostance] Dire Bear Form

and

/use Super Healing Potion
/cast [nostance] Cat Form

FWIW, I've had better luck with this sort of thing using my Outfitter commands as part of the macro, instead of raw /equip.

You can not swap armor, jewelry or trinkets while in combat, but you CAN swap weapons, off-hands, and idols while in combat. So make sure you have your shifting macros and addons configured to swap them as part of form changes.

Unless you are switching out to emergency off-heal/heal then swapping the idol is not worth it as you would have to wait until the global cooldown is finished before you can cast rejuv, then wait for the GC after the rejuv, then switch back, GC, then switch idol, GC then start DPSing again. The gain from the idol isn't enought to justify the lost time.

In less lost DPS time you could just switch, rejuv, lifebloom, then back to cat form and get much more healing.

Sure. I don't mess with leftclick/rightclick myself--I prefer to use modifiers instead. In this case I tried a combo-macro but changed it to a macro per form (that live in the form's own bar) because I messed up just once or twice, and accidentally ending up in cat form while tanking a boss can be quite deadly.

/use Super Healing Potion
/cast [nostance, nomodifier] Dire Bear Form; [nostance, modifier:shift] Cat Form
