Hey guys,
Ive worked it all out, to get full glad set with Vindicators leather boots, belt and bracers, with Band of Triumph, Battlemasters Cruelty and the VETERAN Band of Triump and glad weapons i will need:
AV: 110 Marks
WSG - 50 Marks
EoTs - 80 Marks
AB - 90 Marks
And a CRAPLOAD of honor, 100k+..
So i put forward this question to you, is it worth getting enough arena points for the merc gladiator set (or Veng if i get to 1850 rating) than getting all the honor and BG Marks, will it be quicker? or will getting the arena points take longer?

The only thing you need the 1850 rating for are the melee weapons, then 2000 for shoulders.
Everything else is just arena points.
So stick with your plan to get s1 gear and save up arena points for s3 gear.
A good idea will be not to buy the s1 counterpart of whichever s3 gear you are saving up for, or even you can get 3xs1 gear of the set piece, and get the 4-set bonus with the s3 piece.

Well what i was kinda thinking, as it takes ages to get all those marks, is to only get the Vindicators leather boots, belt and bracers and the 2 rings, but none of the glad gear, do you reckon i'd get into an arena team? Or maybe i could pay a little to get in?
EDIT: Also the Sergeant's Heavy Cloak, which will be replaced with the Dory one eventually.

Ages to get marks?
Jesus, I wish. I have 100 of every mark and 6 pages of marks in the mail from just the past 24 hours.

I find that it helps if you only pvp for the respective marks in whatever battleground is being hosted in a weekend.
For example, If its AV weekend the turnover of games will be so much faster, you will get bonus honor from participating, and if your faction is dominant in your battle group then you are sorted.
Don't forget to pick up your daily pvp quests too.
Edit: Also, I don't think you included the Medallion of the Alliance/Horde. The PvP trinket with 2 min cooldown & 20 resi. That is probably something you should aim for first since it will be with you (pretty much) for life.

Getting pieces of Vengeful Gladiator's from Arena will take much longer than getting the S1 gear with honor points. Maybe not in playing time, but certainly in "real" time.
So go playing BG's, and get the best upgrade first.

Ive already got the one without res, but im gonna get the insignia of the horde, i just didnt say it haha, ty :)

Umm.. yea, that would been before alliance started boycotting and horde were actually WINNING for once, im trying to get the 20 WSG marks but so far its 0-9 to alliance

WSG marks do stink. Not just because it's about 3 marks per hour, but also because the honor stinks too.
