REALLY slow day today. so anyway...

i was doing the skettis escort daily with a random pugger and spotted the npc in the southern location. the pugger was afk so i sat there waiting a bit, keeping my eyes open for any horde ninjas or any alliance i could invite to the party before they ninja. so this gnome mage comes flying in, i quickly mouse over him to get his name and manage to type /inv frostnut in maybe a second. instead of asking for the invite, the guy swooped right in, took the npc, and declined my invitation. here's the resulting convo (*censored):

me: wtf dude, i was just about to invite you.
him: too slow, be faster next time.
me: you're a *fn *Richard.

i fly away...

him: *stuff happens
me: yea *f you
him: do you kiss your mother with that *butt of yours
me: XD that made absolutely no sense, you dyslexic moron, why would i kiss her with my *butt
him: *various misspellings and grammatical mistakes
me: XD didn't get your GED in the mail yet hm?

Frostnut is ignoring you.

i've had far, far better comebacks and epic ./ignores upon similar such events, but this was the latest one. please, do share yours =)

THIS paladin ignored me after she/he told me i had no idea wtf i was doing in heroic Mech. I ran this instance for like 5 months, am in 4/5 t4 and have tanked everything up to vashj and kael. She/he goes oom after each and every pull and is healing in pvp spell damage gear. I told them off with words like "guildless noob incapable of keeping an overgeared tank alive through trash pulls" or something similar, probably more harsh, and they pulled a bunch of mobs and bubble hearthed. The elemental shammy in group healed me through all the mobs they pulled and no one died. I told him/her this and then they ignored me. This was quite a while ago, and its pretty funny to see that they havent upgraded any gear.

was running rfd with and everything was goin well. we got to the skelly boss who dropped a held in offhand healing piece. our healer(a pally) was collecting healing gear to go holy so she asked if she cood need and all agreed she cood. the hunter, who had been shooting rats and meleeing all the mobs ends up needing and winning the piece. the pally begins flipping out a the hunter (which is understandable) about how hes a ninja. the hunter (who was clearly semi-new to the game, or just a complete noob) replies with "but i need so i can vendor for mount money". i felt bad for the pally but coodnt help lol'ing at his nubness. the hunter got kicked and we ended up 4 manning it.

What seems like ages and 1 server ago, I was running Ramparts as a newly lvl 61 warrior. I can't remember who all was in my party except for a warlock who I got to know and even after server xfer, I still keep in contact (what can I say, she's a cool chic).

Anyway, we down the second boss (Omor the Unscarred) and the Garrote-String Necklace drops. WTF! ZOMG! So I roll NEED on it, since no one in the party cared. My first BC useful Dungeon drop and I'm super excited to get the best neck piece in the game for my lvl. I sit back watch everyone pass waiting to get my lewt, except there's a problem...I DIDN'T GET IT!! WTF! The lock rolled need on it too! Honest mistake. She thought it said SPELL Crit on it. ROFL!!

Needless to say, I didn't get super mad at her but I did give her crap for it though! That's my Ninja story, other than I ninja the Escort Quest in Skettis from groups waiting for the NPC. I swoop down and git-r-dun!

/slap

that's why i don't really care about or bother with skettis escort unless i happen to run into the npc while bombing... too many times have i been ninja'd while waiting for everyone to fly to the npc T_T

lol sorry Froman...One time in skettis, I was doing the escort quest and the pizza man knocked on my door...I came back to PHAIL the quest >.< EPIC PHAIL!

I only ninja cuz I used to ask to join groups all the time and the leader wouldn't respond and take the NPC...Since its the easiest quest in the game I rly don't care what people /em to me or whisper or whatnot.

Which IMO is a reason you could just wait for them to finish it instead of being a ninja. Kinda hypocritical that you're posting about a ninja done to you then admitting that you do it yourself.

I have a redeeming ninja story. Was waiting for one of the captains to spawn in the booty bay mission and was finishing off a respawn behind me. This tauren comes in and tags the captain. I typed WTF! He then added me to a group before finishing him. Was cool of him to not be a total ninja.

No one is perfect. It's like, just add me to the group and lets get it done. Although it's the easiest quest..is the most tedious one to find the spawn..granted there are only 3, but someone is usually doing it, or waiting to do it and group is full. IF the group is full I don't ninja. I normally try to ninja from alliance. Karma got the best of me though..

I was farming mines in Nagrand and I was clearing a cave to get to an adamantite vein and a Spriest came right in and WHOOP, took the vein. He did it 3 more times that day. I know the previous owner of the toon, but I think the current owner just farms all day. Which is funny because the gear the spriest has came from SSC/TK and has a set of PvP gear...lol what a waste..

I was doing the Ravager Egg Roundup quest in Hellfire on my Paladin once. as holy its a ***** to grind mobs and i had a hard time clearing to reach the eggs. I was one mob away from my last Egg when some Warlock who clearly knew what i was doing. rides past me and ninjas the egg. not a big deal, but when the mobs start to respawn only seconds after youøve cleared an area its not nice. Not nice at all.

So many times I have been clearing my way to a chest just to have some littke f*ckwad come in when I'm on the last mob and ninja it.

I think when you enter a certain proximity of a chest, it should be marked as yours until you either open it or leave the proximity, to stop little ******* ninja'ing chests.

that's not a bad idea. there should be a timer though, like you only have 10 seconds from entering the area to claim the chest before it goes up for grabs.

My best /ignore came during a BF run not long after reaching the outlands on my Druid. The party consisted of myself (tanking), a DPS warrior, a shadow priest, a rogue, and a holy priest.

The first few pulls go OK, but then things start to change. We start noticing that the rogue really isn't doing much. Most of the fights she's barely moving around, and not attacking anything. She claims she's lagging, and we let it slide because we're not having any problems and maybe it'll clear up. Then it starts taking her 15-20 seconds for her to sap the target we have marked for her. Again, she's claiming that she's lagging. We finally get fed up waiting for her to sap and I just start tanking everything. Within a couple minutes we realize that she's not attacking at all, and had actually enabled auto-follow on the dps warrior. This resulted in an instant kick and /ignore from everyone in the party.

The gall of some people.

Most recent /ignore was for a rogue (Gimmble) after killing Hound master in SM lib. He was the last to be added to the group, and was added b/c we couldn't find a healer and I wanted to get moving so I offered to try on my shaman (enh with no int gear). For those that will flame about shaman is healing class why was there a question, as enh i pick up agi/str/ap/crit so i don't have a very big mana pool. Now we should have been fine, but instead of sapping he'd go and attack a mob and tell me to heal him. I inspected him at one point and noticed he had a better dagger in his off-hand and suggested he switch them. His reply was "heal more". Those wondering, the MH was 1.8 spd dagger with 32 dps, OH was 1.9 spd dagger with 37 dps. Despite his arrogance and not having much time to drink we made it to first boss easily with no deaths. We wiped the first attempt b/c the warlock was afk, the mage was using AOE, the rogue was using blade flurry, and I got healer aggro for having to heal all of them. After calming them down, i explained how we'd do it and it went pretty smoothly. Then the gloves the rogue wanted dropped, we allowed him to roll on them, and after he got them he quickly ditched us. So he didn't ninja, but just for being such a pain in the a$$ noob i had to put him on ignore.

Since I'm at work trying to distract myself I'll post the one that upset me the most. Was doing a reg. Slabs run with some friends to get a couple of them Kara key frags and xp for one friend who was only 67. We kill Murmur and he actually had a Primal Nether drop. Since my rogue was a BS and trying to make the t2 mace, my friends all passed so I could need on it...or so i thought. I lost the roll to my 67 warlock friend who didn't have a crafting profession. Trying to controll myself I asked why he needed and he said, "I was thinking about going tailoring when i hit 70." I put him on ignore for a few weeks after that. This happened some time last summer, long before badges and nethers were fairly easy to get. I don't really play my rogue much anymore and I'm still upset about him doing that, and he never picked up tailoring.

Got need rolled after everyone else passed (as is the guild custom) on a pretty good bop melee trink (http://wow.allakhazam.com/item.html?witem=22321) by a 'lock.

His explination: "When I solo I tank for my pet"

Finished the instance and hearthed. Haven't grouped with him since. Though I hear he's not a bad guy, I still have a small amount of avoidance to him. Seems petty, but.....

And I have encountered the "I need rolled 'cuz I'm poor" crap countless times.

after getting my epic flyer I have Swooped in once and ninjaed the escort by mistake from the video lag now I land and let the graphics catch up first.
But my fix for those that ninja the escort is to go down and pull all the adds from the ground and then come up and let the escort agro them "if" they make it through its a miricle and I get to loot all the adds lol. More often than not the escort respawns in the same location so they get to come back and res about the time you are finishing the escort ;0}
