My advice is to find some 'of the champion' lvl 66+ gear, throw stamina or defense leather armor kits on it and you'll be good to go. Def/avoidance>stam once you have over 11k hp in early tanking gear. Felsteel leggings/gloves/helm are great starter pieces too and pretty cheap.
Also avoid any cc once you get around 450+ def for any nonlvl 70 instance it just slows things down. Once you have 490 def you won't need much cc in lvl 70 instance either.
I just hit 70 on my pally 3 days ago and tanked ShadowLabs 3 times, no cc, no deaths, no wipes, with no super geared party members(one of the runs had a 69 pally healing).
Was a great time as i enjoy tanking, but pugs can get old rather fast, saw by far the 3 dumbest rogue specs(3/41/17 mh 1.6spd dagger, 0/31/30 hemo daggers, 19/0/42 hemo dagger, no imp bs) while pugging last week. As a prot pally aoe tanking with no cc I do decent dam, usually 20% of the grp. These rogues were so bad i easily out damaged them(by more than 5%)which is flat out pathetic.
*edit armory wasn't working when i 1st posted, if armory is correct you're at 386 def which is really low, spell dam is really nice for aoe grinding, but try to get the def above 450 asap, really don't need much spell dam besides your wpn and in that respect you are definetly good to go. Spec wise I'd pick up imp judgements and precision over reckoning but that's just my opinion.
**my pallys logged out in grinding gear not tanking gear, sry i'll try and log him out in tanking gear later on.
