What talents to choose? - blood elf.Follow

#1 Jan 25 2008 at 3:16 AM Rating: Decent
I'm a blood elf paladin, level 40 (main). I split my talents between protect and retribution. People seem to be overly obsessed with my talents. They get real quiet when I tell them what I've done. Were they hoping I threw everything I had into holy? ...picked only one tree branch? Or is their silence just mean their in deep comtemplation over microwaving more pizza pockets?

Any advice on talents for a blood elf paladin?

I think that early on, you won't find much to wow ya by splitting up your points. Depending on how you've split them up, you might just be gimping the crap out of yourself. Not that it matters at that low a level, as you can technically do it all with no talents spent.

stop with that nonsence. i hate seeing peeps over 40 with no tallents spent.

yes normaly pally picks one or the other. for faster lvling due to fast single mob kills for quest most pick ret. if you want to take up 5-10 mobs and laugh at them while killing them then prot.(non casters only mind you) for holy you best for a lvling buddy.

The other benefit from focusing on a specific talent tree while you level is that you get to really practice using the skills (expecially since this is your main toon).

For example - if you spec Ret, then you'll have no experience using Holy Shield and Captain America's Shield. Little things like that. Nothing major, but it does help.
