#1 Jan 24 2008 at 9:25 PM Rating: Decent

I'm sorry for being so frustrated. I was attacked by a cat, then another spider, and shucks, I have no charges left. How do I recharge the Taming Rod?

Thank you so much,
help.....0~o please

If I remember correctly, you can go back to the NPC that gave you the quest and simply ask for a new rod. If not, just abandon the quest within your quest log, go back to the NPC and pick up the quest and do it again.

(edit: The animals will attack you while you're trying to tame them. Don't stand there killing them, because then you can't make them a pet. Just ride out the attack and keep taming)

There should be three separate tameing lessons. One for each type of animal. Tame it and return to the questgiver, tame the next one etc. etc.
When you are done with that you will be instructed to visit your trainer or your pet tranier. It is there that you get feed pet and a few others. Once this is done go find your first "real" pet.

Some tips with taming, hit it with concusive and start tame as soon as it is in range. Do no t keep shooting or hacking at it. Like Smallsword said, tha t isnt taming, that is killing. Also put up your aspect of the monkey for taming.

Simple, abandon quest, go to trainer get quest and new taming rod?

Last night I was unable to post due to bad lag problems, but heres what I wanted to say:

Go back to your trainer and talk to him, maybe he can give you a new one.

If that doesnt work, abandon the quest, if item is still in backpack, delete it, and take quest again.

So... basically what everyone else said already... meh.

I really didnt want to not respond with the idea in my mind already.
