Okay, I'll just say it: I'm not doing them. I didn't do the first couple, and I just hit 26 and I'm not doing that one either. The rewards just aren't that good, and I'm focusing on quests that give rep so I can get a ram at 40.

Does this make me weird? How many of you actually did them all?

I find it curious that a lot of other classes have quests that are really necessary to playing the class (druid forms, poisons, defensive stance, etc.) whereas these seem to be mostly about outfits.

i only did one or two I think. I entirely skipped the laughing sisters one (that you are skipping if I remember correctly, I did do the dustwollow marsh one though for the offhand or wand, I can't remember).

At level 40 Tabetha in DWM gives some nice quests for a good blue staff AND wand.
At level 50 there is a Sunken Temple mage quest.
Also of course youre polymorph pig at level 60 ;)

Those are the ones i did anyway.

The only one I did was for the Orb that acted as an extra mana pot. I can't think of the names but it was around level 40-50 I think that I did it.

I just got done talking in the other thread about the http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=7515 from the mage quest.

As to the question, I did all the mage quests, 'cause I like questing.

Thanks for the reponses. The orb does look nifty. :)

Raglu, I like questing too. But the offshoot of 2.3xp is that you have to do WAY more quests to get exalted by 40 than you actually need to level to 40. And I am so not riding an elephant. Gray quests FT...W... I guess... ;)

I was really happy with the wand quest in Dustwallow Marsh. It's a really nice wand for that level, and I thought it was neat that I got to pick from a fire, ice, or arcane wand. It was like being officially inducted into the frost mage club.

Nevermind that I'm respeccing to fire in a few levels. ;-)

I went and completed the mage quest last night in Feralas for the Pig Polymorph. Was a lot of fun and very easy at 70, worth having the pig instead of the traditional sheep :)

I don't have to. Smiley: wink

Though, I'd bet with the right setup, you could 5 man the fish boss.

We tried the quest a few weeks ago but it didnt' drop. Going to be going back into ZA soon to try again and keep it on farm for the next few months.

Thought I've heard of people paying up to 2k gold for the turtle book. Would be a hard choice to use or sell. That epic flying mount is still calling my name.

I thought that the turtle book was BoP, maybe not. I just got my pig polymorph spell yesterday, funny enough. I will have to try getting into ZG sometime, but I will need to get the stupid quest to do it.

Nope, the turtle book is BoE. You used to see em on the AH when they first came out. They sold for about 400g on my server, which was damned expensive at the time(pre-TBC).

So a hunter I knew and I corpse ran/Feign Deathed(I died so he could get past the patrols and start the quest) over to where the quest thingy is and got him the quest item.

The next week, we fought the fish boss for the first time, and I won the roll when the book dropped. It was awesome.
