Ok need some assistance. I plan to respect to protection at 70 and need some advice for the two mentioned factions above. trades are Alchemy/Herb. what are the pros and cons? have been unable to locate info on either.

The shoulder enchants are so similar it doesn't really matter which. However, since you're an alchemist, scryers offers one pattern and aldor don't have any
this has been brought up before.
it came down to eather more deff or more dodge rateing. and at higher lvl after you already have 490 deff your gonna want more dodge rateing to up uncrushable stats.that being said think you show more earlier with the more deff since less chance.
if i remember right thats what was said think jack might have broken it down some then. been awhile since i saw it. i am only 64 and went with alder for that reason.(not the reason of jack said it, so settle down jack. but for the fact it makes sence to have more dodge rateing after 490.)

Tip: Google Aldor versus Scryer
I wouldn't compare the Aldor chestpiece since you can get a better one through instances making it relatively worthless.
The shoulder enchant difference is really marginal.
I always say, if you like killing demons go aldor, if you like killing Blood Elves go scryers.
I chose scryers because I just can't see myself hanging out with a bunch of Dranei.
