What stats.

Quick question, I've seen multiple answers, but what order stats should we take?

For what spec?

Resto +healing > MP5 > int
Ele +damage = spell crit > spell hit > MP5
Enhance Str > Crit = AP > Agility > hit

K, that seems to be the general vote. What do you mean by Ele +damage = spell crit > spell hit > MP5 whats the +damage = spell crit? meaning that both are equally valuable?

Yes when you first start gearing up for ele, spell damage and spell crit rating are about equal.

Once you get to a certain amount of spell crit (around 15-20% unbuffed) you will want to focus more on spell damage.

I would say if you are looking to start Kara you will want 700+ spell damage and a minimum of 15% crit completely unbuffed.

Wrath of Air will give you another 100 spell damage and Totem of Wrath will give you 3% to crit.

Good, then I feel better. Currently at 500 spell dmg, 620 or so healling and 16% crit. Wearing the s1 helm, gloves, shoulders and leggings. have the dragonscale netherstrike chest piece and and bracers and the netherfury belt and boots.

If you have more healing than spell damage it means you are wearing at least 1-2 pieces that are designed for resto.

Replace it ASAP with a piece with more spell dasmage.

Resto pieces rarely if ever have spell crit on them and actually have way more MP5 than an ele shaman needs.

An ele shaman with 20% crit can get away with as little as 30 MP5 while casting, especially since water shield will give you a constant 50 MP5 more.

Aim for 20% spellcrit.

With Tidal Mastery, Call of Thunder, and Totem of Wrath down, your Lightning Bolt will have a 33% crit chance.

That's efficiency.
