After recently hitting 70 with my priest, I have noticed something. If I am in a group, or even out soloing by myself... people feel the need to "protect me". For example: In a group, there are three of us. We're fighting 3 mobs (non elites). I take one of them, yet someone else in the group immediately rushes to my aid. Or, I'm out soloing, and I pull two or three mobs at once -- Knowing quite well how to handle it, as I've done it a million times before. Yet, some random person runs by and takes the other mob off me, trying to "help".
I know priests are "squishy", but we all know how to take care of ourselves. While it may be our job at times to protect people, and I admit, sometimes we do need protecting ourselves, it seems other classes have no idea just how powerful we really are.
Anyone else have issues with this? Don't get me wrong, I appreciate that people are looking out for me, but it does get irritating on occasion. Usually I don't say anything, but what is an appropriate thing to say when this happens? When people have "helped" me when I have been soloing, I usually say something like "Thanks, but I had it" or "I could've handled that, thank you".
Excuse the rant, I am just curious if anyone else goes through the same thing.
