Currently, im a 25 dranie shaman. Im spec for elemental at the moment, but was wondering if thats the way to go. i mean i like to cast instead of melee, plus i heard Enhancement isnt so much fun around 55-60. Is Elemental the same way?
If so, and they both slow down around that level, which is better over all?

Elemental and Enhancement are equal in terms of the damage they can dish out.
Enhancement is easier to gear pre-outlands.
Enhancement is slightly faster to solo with, because of not having to sit for mana.
Elemental has better survivability for PvP.
Enhancement has more viability for end0game raids.

actually no elemental does better dps in end-game in just about all encounters but w/e. everything else you said is true though :P
Elemental does better DPS, but if you took the same 25 man group and
a) replaced a rogue/hunter with an enhance shaman
or
b)replaced a mage, warlock, or boomkin with an ele shaman
then
raid A would have higher overall DPS.
Enhance shamans don't do as much DPS as ele shamans, but they give phenomenal buffs to a good melee group.

He didn't say Enhancement does more damage end-game, he said Enhancement has more viability.

I would switch to elemental at lvl60-61 cus there are alot of good gear and trinkets u can get. I switched at lvl 60 to elemental and got some good quest items and spent around 50-80g on the rest of my gear. And let me tell u that i have never looked back. Im lvl 65 now and can take on 3-4 outland mobs with ease and only using about 1/4 to 1/2 of mana. they key is mana spring totem and mana shield spam. THis is wat i cast= round up 4 mobs (elemental mastery,chain lightning,fire nova,lightning bolt,magma totem, chain lighting, mabey another fire nova totem) bam 4 mobs dead with very little health loss and mana loss. just make sure u have mana shield up 100% of the fight.

sooo basically your saying that I should swith to enhancement now. Then around lvl 60 switch BACK to elemental?? Sounds good I guess. Anyone disagree? Diffent opinions?

Yeah Enhancment nice for lvling just bcuz u dont really have to sit and get mana back 4 fights later but if u dont mind doing that then elemental is better for u to go just bcuz if u wanna get into a group and yall cant find a healer u can heal also so u can get good exp and some drops bcuz u healed an instance bcuz your group couldnt find one think about if your group would have not found a healer yall would have not went.Just sayin they are both good ways to lvl
If you're going to switch back to ele at 60, just level ele the whole way.
It's a lot of fun and you will be better geared to heal an instance while levelling if called upon to do so.
