So I picked up Staff of Primal Fury ( http://www.wowhead.com/?item=33465 ) last night as I was the only Druid at ZA.

I currently use Pillar of Ferocity ( http://www.wowhead.com/?item=30883 ) for DPS and I was wondering which would be better for dishing out the most damage possible.

I usually use Emmerald's list for this kind of question, but it hasn't been updated in some time and the ZA drops don't seem to be added.

Also excuse my lack of knowing how to link an item correctly, with the hoverbox and all.

Some math:

Primal Fury = 973 + 49 AP = 1022 AP and nearly 2% crit

Pillar of Ferocity = 1059 + (47 x 2) AP = 1153 AP and no crit

Primal Fury also has armor penetration.

I'd use Primal Fury for dps.

Ah, thank you.

My math is pretty terrible.

I have one more question for you, I want a macro that I can use while tanking that takes me out of Dire Bear, casts Barkskin and puts me back into form... How would I go about doing this?

I've read the macro guides but I can't seem to string together something that works.

And if you need an updated emeralds list check out http://www.emmerald.net/. He also puts Staff of Primal Fury above Pillar of Ferocity

Just saw the macro question as well. You can't make a one-button macro for that, since you get a global cooldown, but if you don't mind pressing it twice, it would go something like this:

/cast [stance:1] Barkskin
/cast [nostance] Dire Bear Form

I'm not exactly sure if Dire Bear Form is stance 1, but I think it is. Also i wouldn't recommend using this while tanking, since you will be in caster form for the duration af a global cooldown. In a boss fight that usually means you get one-shotted

Thank you for your help.

The macro works great, I'm very aware of the risks when using something like this. I merely intended it for use before a fight starts or when fighting stunnable mobs(I could Bash and then pop this macro).

Thanks again.
