Is there a mod that lets you make a button for any spell, potion, weapon, trinket etc. and stick it anywhere on your screen, preferably resizable as well? There are a couple of spells (Lay on hands when tanking new bosses for one) where I would just like a massive button right off my character that I could press in half a heart beat when needed....

You could solve all this by using the optional action bars available from the interface and binding them to keys you don't often use, like Q-E-R-F-C. Bind strafe left/right to A-D, learn to mouse turn, then put abilities on those keys so they're within easy reach. Then bind other keys with alt+Q/E/R/F/C, shift + Q etc., so you can conceivably have twenty abilities within easy reach at a moment's notice.

If you're clicking it with your mouse pointer...well, that's fine, I used to do that, but it's much easier and quicker to put them onto keys. A massive button seems kind of unwieldy. What if you needed to look at something behind the button?

Bongos.

Gives you up to 12 action bars, all with position and scale control. You could do exactly as you described...a giant LoH button to your right. Could also make a giant Hearthstone and Divine Shield button for use in world pvp situations. ;)

Lol, 'learn to mouse turn' :D I've been 'mouse turning' since Doom 1 meladdy!

I have all my main abilities bound to buttons already, and all my action bars filled up. I just want one or 2 floating buttons that I can stick anywhere on the screen with things like Lay on Hands on them, as that would of saved my *** when I MT'd gruul last night, died at 20% and realised LoH would of pulled me through, I just forgot about it in the stress of my first MT shot at him.

I think I'll give Bongos a try, sounds like what I'm looking for. Does it work with WoWace updater?

All you need is a way to remind you of your options. Use this and stick it on your monitor.

I think Bongos is in WoWAce.

The interface is a little weird at first getting used to, but give it a couple hours and really get to know it. Plumb it's innermost depths. I had Healing Potions, DS, LoH, BoP, BoF, and Mana Poitons right next to my char really big, far away from each other, and with an alpha scale so I could see through them.

There's also Caster, which automatically populates spell buttons next to your character, party, raid, etc. It's on WowAce as well. What I like about it is that you can be targeting someone/something and don't need to re-target self/party member to cast the spell you want. Just click the button next to them. I have FoL, HL, Cleanse, LoH, BoP, Redemption on my party members and a big FoL, HL, Cleanse, Divine Shield buttons on my name.
