Garrote + Master of Subtlety?Follow

#1 Jan 23 2008 at 9:29 AM Rating: Decent
Just wondering if Garrote is effected by this talent or not. I have read several articles where one says it does while others say it does not.

I am not sure how a bleed over time opener would be affected by a talent that increases your effective stealth, aside from MoD allowing you to get closer to your opponent and use the opener. You should be behind your target when using openers anyway, so I would say it would not have an effect. Use distract to turn the mob around if they are facing you.

I am talking about Master of Subtlety, not Master of Deception.

The talent the OP is talking about indicates that it should indeed increase the damage of garotte.

If not, it is a bug.

Master of Subtlety
"Attacks made from stealth and for 6 seconds after leaving deal an additional 4/7/10% damage."

Doh xD

Seriously, though, they do sound very similar in name. Especially since subtlety is often deceitful and vice-versa.

Doh indeed. Sorry for the misunderstanding. I am the deepest into the subtlety tree that I have ever been with my current mutilate build so these types of things are foreign to me.

/em goes and sits quietly in the corner and lets the big kids talk.
