Hello, and thanks for reading. I'm trying to get some advice and gather some information in order to make a decision. I'm doing an arena team with a warrior (MS) and everything I've read so far says that the best warrior priest combo for 2v2 would be disc/holy. The thing is, I really love the shadow tree and would love to stay shadow. Is an MS warrior and a Spriest doomed to failure in the 2v2 brackett? Is there any way to make it work?

Neither team is particularly powerful in 2x2, so you might as well stay shadow.

If I were you, I'd consider finding a Rogue. Rogue + Shadowpriest is a potent 2x2 team.

Thanks, that's pretty much what I've been reading. The warrior is a RL friend of mine, and we'll find something that'll work eventually. I think I'll also try to find us a third and do some 3v3. Would that make shadow over dsc/holy a little more survivable? Maybe add some CC like a rogue or a mage or lock?

War + disc/holy breaks 2k bracket, shadow + war - I doubt.

A well geared MS warrior + any healer is an above average combo. Although you won't break any records you'll win enough games to start getting your base arena gear built up.

However, if you want to stay shadow the opponents will be coming after you hard so your success will depend on your survival skills. You'll probably be doing much less DPSing and much more LOS running, fearing, etc.

Anything is worth a try though, arena teams aren't that expensive to set up.
