Speed levelling 20 - 35Follow

#1 Jan 23 2008 at 2:25 AM Rating: Decent
I am looking to bring my disenchanter alt to the next level (300 enchanting) so I need to level him from 20 to 35 (alliance).

He is Affliction specced atm (if you can call 11 points 'specced') but I'm looking to take him to 35 as quickly as possible.
Will affliction give me the best levelling speed or is it worth respeccing?
What gear am I looking for primarily, I guess stam/int and +spell dmg?

So far I plan to follow James' levelling guide as affliction, is this wise?

Any suggestions you can offer greatly appreciated.

Jame's guide is great, Affliction is fine, and Warlock are not very gear dependant, don't go out of your way to buy gear, just what you get from quest rewards and instance drops along the way is fine, though yes, at your level +Sta is probably your best bet, the +Spell Dam will come later, after 40ish, and that gear will usually come with enough Int to last you. Sta is our primary stat, Int doesn't matter that much with Life Tap.

I'd stear clear of instances unless they're going to end off quests that are well worth the time put in.

In my experience at that level, the time it takes to get through 1 run of VC, WC, SFK, or RFK is the same time it takes to just grind/quest one level out. Often even more, when you run into complications with group members arriving late, leaving early, and just plain sucking.

As a Lock there will be absolutely no need to group ever if your sole goal is to get to 35.

And ya, I'd stay affliction unless you really don't mind drinking a lot. Demo at his level is crap since the % changes in the first few teirs end up meaning ~50hp, ~100mp, and like 30 armor... hah.

Take Destro (which is really only viable once you can get Intensity 2/2 and Shadowburn - lvl 27 I believe) and, as I said, will require a TON of drinks.

Best bet is to just work with the Voidwalker and do regular but steady drain hunt rotation until you can start doing multiples.
