holy disc dmg buildFollow

#1 Jan 22 2008 at 4:33 AM Rating: Decent
ok i was thinking 31/28 this build would give me power infusion inner focus and in holy it would give me spirit of redemption and surging light. the basis of what i want at 70 pvp would be some high crits but with back up of some nice heals i was thinking 3 pieces of s1 gear dmg and 2 pieces of s1 healing. im just wondering is it a good idea? I find that if i have the healing im much more efficent at healing my friends in pvp but i can also hit some nasty crits. any thoughts?

will you be getting the mage s1 gear (gladiators silk), for its crit stat; or do you plan on picking up the priest damage items (gladiators satin)?

imo, a healer who keeps a better dps alive will do better than a healer who tries to dps for himself while doing a half-*** job of healing

its more or less just so when im alone i can fend a little bit for my self i mean i have seen some decent holy disc dmg vids i mean PI + IF with holy fire crit procs surging light i mean with decent gear i can see a 2.5-3k holy fire and a 1k-1.2k smite instant

also getting two sets of s1 will give you both resil set bonuses so its all for survivablitiy

The thing I always tell priests who are trying to do this type of thing is the following:

You can't have your cake and eat it too.

Unless of course you want to be mediocre at both. Realistically, a 31/28 build probably won't allow you to beat anyone in a duel and it will drastically gimp your healing/survivability in arena. Just my two cents, take it for what its worth.
