for arena go with bloodlust brooch i say b/c that much ap for longer than the other trinket is better imo. crits dont do as much in arena /c of resilience right? so go with brooch i say

its not crit..its +80 ap and u can use it as kinda like a healthstone..
but true..that extra ap on bloodlust brooch is nice for 20 secs..

They are both nice. BGs last longer than Arenas and a death is never as key since there is no rating system to grade you on your win/loss ratio, so for BGs I'd rather have the Bloodlust Broach. For Arenas the Health can be key, but if I had either one of those I'd not spend a lot of effort picking up the other. If I had neither I'd probably go for the Battlemaster's trinket.
Personally, if you are a big fan of 2's and 3's where you need major burst dmg at the get go, and you are BM a trinket like Bloodlust Brooch is key for your 18 seconds of fury. For longer fights such as the ones 5v5 brings, I would go with the Battlemaster's Determination, will help your healers (albeit just a little) focus on the melee which are probably getting more dmg and give you a little more sustained dmg (albeit just a little)... =)
