Is it possible to succesfully heal heroics without any badge or kara gear?

If so what kinda gear are we looking at? PVP gear?

There are many guides on the minimum stats needed to heal heroics and beyond. As long as your gear measures up from drops and quests then there is no reason you cant.

However a full PVP decked healer would not be able to heal well in a PVE situation. The lack of MP/5 on PVP gear makes it not that usefull for PvE.

A few PVP gear items say shoulders or a belt mixed in with PvE items may be ok but not full PVP gear.

read the pre-kara healing guide.... get the gear and stats recommended there as much as you can and you should be able to heal for heroics. I actually don't even have all of the gear on the list yet and i've been successfully healing heroics for a while. Don't have any kara or PVP gear (except for the gloves) either. As long as you have pretty much all lvl 68-70 blues and maybe a few rep based epics you should be good to go. Getting some decent enchants will help too. and healing heroics w/o badge gear? um, you kinda have to at first ;)
