I finally got the S1 OH this weekend and went fury, still working towards the MH this weekend, Woot for AV weekend!! And I got +20 strenght enchanted to my OH this morning, I was going to get Mongoose for MH but I wasn't sure if I should get Crusader (for the 120Ap it gives on Proc) or get another +20 strenght enchant on it too.

I've been reading up a bit for the last 2 days and it looks like I would benefit more from the AP then Agil/2% attack speed. I'm going to be doing alot of PvE raiding/Farming if that makes any diffrence in the choice.

Any advice is helpful, Thanks.

P.S. See sig for my characters name.

Executioner MH, Mongoose or Potency OH is the best combo.

I don't wanna spend the money on Executioner. Sorry I didn't say that, Mongoose is the most money I will spend on an enchant right now.

It's either Mongoose,Potency or Crusader.

Any other advice?

Executioner isn't any more expensive than Mongoose is, you know. Two Greater Eternal Essences and three Major STR Elixirs are about as much money as 10 Arcane Dust, and it's the far better enchant.

If you want to save some gold, get Executioner/Potency. Mongoose is about as good as Potency on the OH and a lot more money.

Ok, first off, whats better Crusader or Potency on my MH if I did that. I've been looking/reading up on Executioner and 840 armor doesn't really seem that worth it. It looks like I'd get more out of the AP from Crusader or Potency because of Bloodthirst, correct me if I'm wrong, thats just what I've gathered.

Thanks again for any help. :)

Probably slightly more out of Crusader, but they're most likely about the same.

And yeah, the 840 Armor Penetration is completely worth it. PvE-wise 840 Armor Penetration is worth ~6% more damage while it's active... and that goes up the more Armor Penetration you have. That's worth quite a bit more than the the Mongoose or (nerfed) Crusader procs, although it'd be questionable which is better if Crusader didn't scale downwards on the way to 70.

Ok, I'm not completely sure if I wanna pay so much for Executioner on a weapon I will only be using up to ZA or End of Kara. Especially since I just looked at how much it was again (saving for epic flyer).

Here comes my final question, how much Strenght does the Crusader Proc add and is it worth it or should I just go with Potency?

Thanks again, I appreciate the info alot. I just wanna make sure I get my moneys worth out of my enchants.

Crusader is 60 STR at level 70, and is probably slightly better than Potency is on the mainhand due to the increased number of procs (as it can proc off Bloodthirst/Whirlwind). Prices is probably a bit lower too - the Large Brilliants and Righteous Orbs are usually extremely cheap, and would be easy to farm yourself.

If you're not going to use it for long, get either Crusader or Potency. If you get a decent upgrade, Executioner it if it's a MH and use Potency if it's an OH if you're aiming to save money.

Ok this is my last post. I've looked at the drops from ZA and Kara, and they don't look like much of an upgrade to S1 weapons. So I've decided to spend the money for Executioner since I won't be in ZA for a while.

Thanks again for the info.
