Thats a BG PvP suicide spec.
Nothing wrong with that, if thats how you want to play, but understand thats ALL you'll be able to play as a shaman.
It does "work" to a certain extent, but understand why the word "suicide" is in there. Granted its not quite how YOU think things are going to happen.
LB's and CL can get spammed at distance on unsuspecting targets, with a "ok"+ degree of success! Problem is, "How are you geared"? Elem gearing? Enh? If your sided Elem sided, then cool, you should be running something like a >25% crit rate, so your burst dmg at range could be pretty good. But up close, your stormstrikes and WF's are going to be tickling them. Even with the SS debuff on a target, no ones gonna give you the chance to throw a LB/CL uncontested, and typically when taking hits up close, your 1.5 sec spell cast turns into a 5 sec cast. Which pretty much means your going to try for a Earth Shock instead, which given the gearing "could" hit pretty hard, if it crits.
On the other shoe, if your enh geared, LB's and CL's a tickle at best, up close, SS and WF's are king, or at least it should be.
All in all, its not the spec that makes something work (this rule applies double for shamans), but the gear thats on at the moment. You can't have both melee and caster stats on at the same time, and mixing and matching caster/melee stats...just kinda makes you suck at both rather than best of both.
Your going to have to pick which aspect your going to be strong in. While suicide specs "work", understand what they are ment to do, and how they go about doing it.
If I might make a suggestion, carry 2 complete sets of armor. One for Casting, and one for melee. Given the situation, either make a macro to completely swap out one set (of course your going to have to be out of combat to get the WHOLE set on) or download Outfitter mod to do it for you.
In BG, given the situation...I swap into one or the other. For example, (in AV) if I'm defending something (like in a tower) I typically stay in melee gear. If I'm on the offensive, lets say charging a GY in a large group of ppl, I go caster gear and start bouncing CL's in and out of groups...toss in a few heals too.
In rare occations, its fun when someone gets too close to you, while in caster gear...and you land a SS. The SS is hardly going to do much dmg to them....but its the crit ES and CL that followed it that kinda scares ppl. 4k CL/LB's bring smiles....especially if your a Enh heavy spec like myself.
