Dual WieldingFollow

For Dual Wielding, what are ideal weapons? The way I figure, a normal one hander in main hand, and an even slower one on offhand, so its more likely that windfury procs on the main hand, rather than the weaker offhand..... But back to the subject at hand. What are the best DW weapons? Specifics?

For a level 38 shaman or a level 70 shaman?

Well at the moment My shammy is DW 2 Wirt's Third legs.
Not the slowest speed, but best for damage at my level.
Did a run through uldaman last night, beat a 42 hunter in dps and damage done.
Only time he ever out dps'd me was when we were doing the earthen dudes, stupid multi-shot.

Preferrably, Both weapons should have an attack speed of 2.5 or greater.
And I also believe that proccing WF with your offhand still causes your main-hand to do the 2 extra attacks.

for your level?

well first would be the hand of righteousness drops from High Inquisitor Whitemane in SM Cath and is useable for a 39

at 40 there's Heaven's Light which is a random world drop, And Wirsts third leg for an offhand also an AH drop, as well as Galgan's
Firehammer from Uldaman off of Galgan as an offhand as well

At 43 there is the Hand of Antu'sul which drops from antusul in ZF it's MH only. Also for 43 try and find an Executioners cleaver from the AH it's the most amazing 2h in existence that allows you to drop casters in a WF proc

At 44 there is also the Rockpounder from the last boss of Uldaman which also is an acceptable 2h

At 45 there is the Ripsaw which drops from Chief Ukorz Bloodscalp in ZF this will replace your MH

For 47 if you went axe or macesmithing you can create a light skyforged axe or earthforged hammer as another mh replacement

for 48 you can pick up the bonesnapper off the AH for about 10-30g which is what I've advised all the shammies I know in the level range to use.

:( I leveled my shammy to 60 over 2 years ago :P

and yeah

the 2 extra attacks aren't made with your mh they are made with your offhand but the WF ap bonus is applied after the DW penalty which means your WF procs offhand will be more than half of your mh

Edit: ohyeah get an axe of the deep woods or w/e at 52 or do the av questline for the mh( don't worry about the stats worry about the dps)
