Well, we have a guy asking for shot rotation macros...I'm wondering about the "shots" themselves (from a feral in-group perspective). At 70, it appears that even with mangle up, rake would not do nearly as much damage as shred, thus making rip the only thing that would benefit from the mangle debuff. At that point, I'd assume the goal would be to maintain mangle and FFF, then shred until at 5 CP's and rip.
As for off-tanking (with a warrior tanking I wont need to keep up demo roar) am I correct in guessing that again I need to keep up mangle and FFF, only in this case lacerate up to 5x and keep refreshing that. Which is where I wonder...on multiple mobs when does swipe play into the mix (or is tab-lacerate better?), and whether or not I should just spam lacerate on the main (or only) target or if there's another skill I should use.

For a clearer representation of my questions:
1. For cat form, is it keeping up mangle and FFF, then shred spam until rip?
2. For multimob in bear form (with no demo roar necessary) I know to keep up mangle and FFF on my main target, but what's the best way to deal with them after that?
3. For single mob in bear form (with no demo roar necessary) keep up 5x lacerate, mangle, and FFF, then what?

Also, the order in which these things should be applied at first (I know in cat form to open up with ravage/pounce, but bear form openning rotation eludes me) would be much appreciated.

Mangle and Shred combo is definitely best for damage output in Cat form. And Rip when you have 5 points.

For multi-mob tanking, see if you can keep Lacerate on as many targets as possible. Lacerate is basically our Sunder Armor threat-wise. I like to mix in a Swipe once in a while.

1)Actually, you want to rip when you got 4 combo points, because if your next attack crits, it's a combo point wasted. So mangle + shred until you got 4-5 combo points, then rip.

2)Bear aoe aggro holding = swipe (and tab lacerate if you got the rage).

3)maul whenever extra rage.

Bear opener = FC + mangle + swipe if more mobs 3+, if 1 or 2 - laceratex1 (the uncharged first, then stack 5 on the main target).

In context of mangling, lacerating, and concentrating on the main target, it's my experience that Swipe spamming easily holds secondary mobs just fine relative to healing aggro. If three mobs, spam swipe, and if more than three mobs I'll tabspam it. Shortly before one mob goes down I'll mangle and start stacking lacerates on whoever's next in line for the death express.

I admit that I'm usually way too lazy for this, but when I'm trying to be the best bear I can be, I actually initiate the pull with some magical mojo -- damaging them, healing myself, or some combo thereof. By my logic it's really the optimal way to pull...use mana I don't need and get that threat flowing.

For example: Starfire mob 3, Moonfire mob 2, Lifebloom myself, pop to Bear, engage mob 1 with mangle+lacerate, demo roar, get him nice and stuck on you before building more threat on 2, 3, and beyond. If I'm trying to attract and hold more than 3 mobs I'll get demo roar in sooner, and if it's a large group of lightweight mobs I'll open with a little barkskin+hurricane action.

If there's more mobs than you have valid targets for Swipe for (4+), jump around. Seriously. If you're moving the "closest three" mobs shifts constantly, which means Swipe will be hitting everything (at least in theory). Don't turn your back to the mob but strafe-jump and you'll find the threat becomes easier. Also, it's fun.

I use the same trick on my Warrior for Cleave/Thunderclap.

Lacerate/Maul... more so. Hit Mangle whenever it's off CD, etc.

For cat form, the ideal way to keep mangle up is to once you have 4/5 combos,
wait until you have enough energy to rip then mangle before the first tick,
and keep shredding until rip runs out and you should hopefully have enough combos
to repeat. If you have excess energy and enough time left on rip, shred once more.
That way you should never need to mangle twice during a rip or lose bonus damage.

There is no reason to stop spamming lacerate after 5 stacks, as the real threat
comes from the direct hit of the spell and very little from the bleed.
Keep mangle on CD, spam lacerate and if you have lots of rage, maul.
