Hey all,

Trying out all Rogue builds atm, how does this Muti build look? Criticism welcome.

http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=fhe0oEMsidVohZi0j

Or do i put 3 into Imp. Backstab instead of gouge? Ive never played a muti build before so how you do ur moves in order would be nice :), also maybe a suggestion for some lvl 60 daggers, as im lvl 57 and would respec to muti at lvl 59 or 60.. maybe Hellfire Peninsula quest daggers?

Cheers, Speed

Use this whilst leveling and then this at 70.

Oh, and please don't level as daggers, combat swords is so much easier! :D

Mutilate is fine to level with once you get Opportunity, and this is what you should go into as soon as you get mutilate.

EDIT: Cheap Shot, (wait for poison to proc) Mutilate, Gouge, (5point) Kidney Shot, Mutilate, Mutilate, Gouge/SS, Evis. :p

EDIT2: Misunderstood what you ment by 'lvl 60 daggers' (Thought you ment a lvl 60 combat daggers build >.<). I think in Hellfire (horde anyway), only one quest gives a good dagger, but this will not let you take down the mobs quickly or easily. There are 3-4 good and easy quests which give great swords, along with the first boss in Hellfire Ramparts who drops one with ~59.0 dps, which is good :P

When using speced as mutilte you will never use backstab. Even on Poison immune mobs mutilate does better damage.

If you are alliance the two daggers you get right in HP are decent, you may favor a slower offhand than the 1.4 (I think) that you get. The Main hand is decent.

Rotation: Cheap Shot, Mutilate, <energy ticks> Kidney shot, Mutilate x 2, Eviscerate and if it is still alive wait for some energy, Gouge, Mutilate, eviscerate. If it still alive after that switch to lower level mobs cuz these are too high for you.

I may be wrong, but I was under the impression that Imp poisons > Vile Poisons for Mutilate. You need to make sure your target is poisoned as fast as possible. I guess this doesn't make much difference at 70 with Shiv, but I'm lvl 68 atm, so I haven't had a chance to try that yet.

you need the DW spec to make up for the lack of opportunity :P

it also serves as a plausible raiding build

It generally is, but if you count how many times your Poisons get resisted on a target, you will see why I chose vile. About 50% of your Poisons get resisted on a target your level, Vile bascially demolishes that. (Numbers going on my own level + Target level ofc :))

The talent tree's will be so different it's not even worth speculating. Most likely, they will move mut to a 50 pt talent. A BC talent build with 10 extra points somewhere will either (A) not exist anymore, or (B) be very gimped compared to a full 50 point tree. Especially since Blizz claimed they didn't want rogues in hyrbrid specs.... but 33/28 warrior is fine with them.... I digress
