Hi guys, I am currently doing both some PvE and PvP, a bit of raiding in my crappy gear (like 57 spellhit) and PvP in my just as crappy gear (meaning 8k hp 40 resil). Here's my Armory link, and uh, which item should I get first to improve myself the most for PvP? Got about 11k honor atm, was leaning towards the leggings, but I am not sure. I would love that 2 set piece bonus of 35 resil.

Legs sounds like a solid idea - tbh, with your gear I don't see it making much difference what you change first, as long as you change it all to more resilience. Pants are the best place to start though, but getting medallion of the alliance should be a high priority for you as well, so you can throw out that bladefists trinket of yours. Bracers which only costs 11k honor would also be a good choice to change.

The EU WoW site won't load for me right now, but my general recommendation for initial PvP gearing is get that +35 res bonus (i.e., get two pieces of arena gear), then start saving for the S1 staff (or S2, if you've got an arena team going). The exception would be if you have something like the Staff of Infinite Mysteries from Kara, which has better +sta and similar +dmg to the S1/S2 staff, in which case you can spend more points on armor and rely on the pve weapon for the time being. That's not to say Infinite Mysteries is an equivalent PvP weapon, but it's a good substitute while you fill out the rest of your PvP gear.

One could argue that an arena staff is a better raid/pvp middle ground whereas an arena spellblade is better for pure pvp, but that's probably a bit much for this thread.

Gloves are generally cheap, but you really want the S3 gloves with their decrease of Polymorph cast pushback. 5 extra yards to Fireblast isn't that great.

I'll try and look at your gear specifically when I get home.
