Leveling Spell RotationFollow

#1 Jan 19 2008 at 12:43 AM Rating: Decent
I'm not sure if this topic has been reviewed, so if it has been, I apologize for the repetition in advance. I have a 47 paladin that I'm in the process of working on. What is the best rotation (Retribution) of spells that will maximize damage and drop mobs faster? I've messed around with different seals/judgements and just can't seem to get it right. It ends up taking the same amount of time to kill mobs when I was holy. Any suggestions or ideas? Thanks.

Judge Crusader onto the mob to increase your holy damage and crit rate, then use Seal of Command and judge that as often as you can. Most of your damage comes from your weapon though, as Command uses your base weapon damage, so make sure you are using the best weapon you can get your hands on.

You can also increase your damage by picking mainly on demons and undead, as you can get a 3% bonus from the Crusade talent and you can use Exorcism spell for a boost to your damage.

1. Activate whatever Aura you want.
2. Cast whatever Blessing you want.
3. Cast Seal of the Crusader.
4. Move towards your target and Judge it as soon as you can. Most likely the target will notice you just before you cast Judgment.
5. Start autoattacking and cast Seal of Command.
6. Keep autoattacking, letting SoC proc every now and then. Once SoC is about to run out, Judge it and then recast it. Repeat until the mob dies.

And with Crusader Strike mixed into it? That's my main issue at the moment. I keep spamming the attack and end up OOM fast.

Save CS for casters or adds when you might need to kill faster - a straight melee fight with SoCommand ought to be fast and fairly mana efficient anyway, no point going oom just to kill it 10 seconds faster imo.
