Stacking CritFollow

I'm not much of a theory crafter, but it seems to me that crit is only as useful as the AP you have to use it with.

IOWs, who cares if you crit 50% of the time if your RAP is abysmal? To lose AP in favor of pure crit might be "ok" in a few cases, but to me it seems silly. Why lose agi (RAP and crit) for pure crit? Stack agi and kill 2 birds with one stone.

As an avid, progressing raider, I like to stack up on Agility gems before going for the crit. Agility scales with buffs and talents (just in case I want to go SV), crit doesn't.

After a point, which typicaly comes for any non-SV Hunter once they reach 25 person content with appropriate gear (i.e. not being escorted through 25 person content in their quest blues). Before then stacking AP is the best DPS return for gems and enchantments.

I gem agility mostly and some crit, 32 crit atm in mostly Kara lvl gear and 1750~ ap with hawk. I can hit 1300 sustained dps on Nalorrak and similar on prince

Have yet to see anyone out dmg me in 5 mans 10 or 25th in normal fights, which is most of it. Be it total or otherwise, so stacking crit isn't a bad thing. I do realize my AP is a little on low side for my crit but it appears to not hurt me one bit. I may later experiment mixing some AP gems in but I doubt I will see much if any difference.

Oh I use WSR, Sunfury is mostly for when I pvp.
