Ok well i recently started kara with my guild, i was 3rd in dps, behind 2 rogues, but problem is none of the guild is really geared enough as were just casual, we still managed to down attunem but when it came to maiden we would inevitably wipe around 62%, though I think it was mainly tactics.
However I'm wondering whether you think my build/my gear is good enough for a start up in heroics/kara (i plan on finishing my spellfire set and have the pattern for spellstrike pants though not hood yet), any help will be thankful :)

Alot of PVP gear for PVE when you are tailoring and could craft the T5 stuff (or at least work less in BGs and work some more on the little extra you need to finish of the tailoring. Spellfire comes to mind.
EDIT: Dont think its much of a change but the three points in arcane missiles to arcane focus might help a little.

In addition to what Spicyoctopusroll said about working more on tailoring:
Work on your Sha'tar reputation. If you're even halfway serious about raiding, the helm enchant is quite useful.
Green level gems in epic gear? Please fix this.
From PvP, there are really only a couple things I'd consider as good for PvE. Bracers and Weapon are the only items that spring to mind.
It can, but it's really more of an issue in places where Spellsteal or Polymorph matter, so not a big thing in Kara.
What's happening when you guys wipe? Tank suddenly dying? Repentance giving you no healing for the tank? People dying to the Holy Fire? Healers going OOM?
