I'm new to 70 and pvp, and i keep hearing about S1 weapons, what are they and how do i get them?

Season 1 arena rewards which were recently (a few patches/months ago) moved to the Honor Point reward vendors (Champion's Hall in SW for Alliance).
Each have a set amount of honor points and specific BG marks required to buy. Easy to get, in that it only takes the time necessary to accumulate the honor pts required, and to a lesser extent the marks.
Edit: oh and it's not just weapons, but also chest, legs, boots, etc. The resilience on them is vital for PVP these days.

I think to get a full S1 set is 75k honor with 100 [Misc. marks of honor].
The weapons (swords, daggers, fists + maces) are 9k for the off hand and 17(?) k for the MH, with 20(?) Marks for each too.
What I am currently trying to do is grind all the honor / Marks that I need to get the entire kit (weapons, set, Vindicator's kit), buy it all before 70 along with sockets / enchants, all so I can do that old Enter a '60-69 bg as a 70' guff, but with the best gear available to me :P
It'll take a while I know but I will fraps it if I ever get round to it and post the video here ;p

Boy that would be fun. Hmm, which BG to do it in though, definitely want to pick the one that will last the longest to maximize the fun. WSG maybe, keep the opposing team from capping or picking up your flag, and don't help your team get theirs. GL!

Thanks :) But I was thinking EotS, as I could just not help any base and duke it out in the center with the flag :D
I can just tell I'm gonna zone into the BG and its going to have a 4cap victory to the Horde before I even start filming >.<
Do it in EotS, make sure you have a riding crop equipped so you get to the flag first, pick up the flag and just don't cap it.
Even with a 4-cap, without flag-capping an EotS should last 6-8 minutes.

If you go for the whole 70 PVP set S1, Vindicators, Trinkets, etc. it's around 216k honor and over 200 marks...

I'm averaging about 500 honor when we win trhe 61-70 AV (Most of the time) So if I just sit down and farm, I should be there in no time.... yeah...
So, I'm now 65 and currently have enough honor to buy the S1 off hand, besides the Marks of honor -.- Which is annoying tbh. I think instead of getting the full S1 set, I'll just get the Weapons (inc. throwing), Vindicatior's Kit and the Rings along with the Medallion and Just two parts of Season One which would most probably be the Gloves and Leggings (I like how the S2 Head + Shoulders look togeather too much xD).
I think I'll keep you updated on this thread and post a new one with the final video, that is, if you want me to, of course. If some people dont like the idea or can think of a way to improve it, please do tell :D

if you wanna get weapons that you can use in pve as well as pvp get the glad swords
