I have a 35 Pally, fully prot specced and I really need to upgrade my sword. I am still using "The Butcher" which i picked up at level 27. (Some fool had it in the AH for 2g lol)
Could any more experianced pally suggest a better weapon or at least a weapon that i should keep an eye out for in the AH please?
Any help or advise would be great, thanks guys and gals.

I think at that level I used the Sword of Serenity from the SM quest (In the name of the light, or something). Assuming you can get a group to rum SM: Lib, Armory and Cath.
Look at left side of screen.
Go into Items section
Select "Advanced Search".
Put in parameters you are looking for.
Voila!!!! There are your results.
This is a useful tool while leveling.
For example:
Type = Sword
Max Level = 40
DPS Min = 28
That will list you a bunch of weapon s in the category you are looking. Then, try for Axe and Mace.

The other thing you can do is go to your armory and the click the upgrade options button. (I always forget about that)
or just do what i do go to ah look for sword mace axe 1 hander2.0 and under and buy it if not for sale oh well looks like i have this one for another lvl or two or till i look again. you should still be lvling fast not that big of a deal to spend time looking it up and then running all around trying to find it or get it to drop. although the sm one is quest so get some exp there.
