Another gear question.
Which one is the best?

Honestly, I'd prolly go with Warbringer for trash mobs, and change to Pauldrons of stone resolve for bosses.
I'm actually a big fan of dodge. The less damage the better IMO.
You'll lose
-small amount of armor
-5 stam
-3 def rating
- sheild block/value
but gain
26 dodge rating
14 str (which helps with DPS and Block)
15 Agi (which helps with Crit/Dodge/Armor)
So if it were me choosing... I'd get the Warbringers 1st. Use that as boss tanking gear until I could get the Pauldrons.
Neither one really has any good socket bonuses... so I'd imagine you'll fill them with Star of Elune.

eish... you guys are lucky. my tanking shoulder drops have been so poor, i can't even get the bold shoulders off murmur and i'm looking at the s1 shoulders as a serious upgrade T_T

Thats what I wear. They may not be specifically for tanking, but hey all that armor and stamina is nice. Theyll do till I get enough badges to grab the new shoulders. (Im tanking up to shade and illhoof in kara and heroics have no more upgrades for me.)

Personally, if I had to pick ONLY ONE, I would rather have the second ones for the SBV. However, they're both different, and would be used in slightly different settings. So if possible, grab both.

You and me both. It's been a year since BC came out. It'd be nice if Blizzard would up the stupid tank gear drop rates already.

Not trying to flame, but it really annoys me when people say cite the block increase as a use for str on tanking items. Take this example. 14 Strength. With prot talents, that gets boosted to roughly 15.4. Toss on Blessing of Kings and it boosts you to 16.94. It takes 20 strength to give ONE point of block value. This doesn't even give one full point.
The benefits of str are: higher damage on most attacks, and higher rage generation during streaks of avoidance (where all your rage is going to be from damage you inflict)
It's like saying agility is awesome because it gives armor. It's really not worth mentioning.
