I am currently 10/0/51 specced with good gear (I think its good atleast). My guild has 2 groups with Kara on farm, and Gruul is going down with ease now. We are going to start work on Mag and Loot Reaver and some SSC. The guild doesnt force spec on people and I am workin on mats for a fire set, but I was wondering if it was possible to proceed as frost past Gruul and Mag. Im still going to work on my fire set, but really enjoy the aspects of frost, would I be too much of a detriment to the team if I stayed frost post Mag?

You will do more dps with fire (When you are geared appropriately for it). Continue getting your fire set mats together and switch if you want to be serious about raiding with it. You can raid as frost after, but you won't be hitting your potential. For a fight like hydross you will need to respec anyway, and not until Al'ar will you need to go back to frost.

You probably won't do as much damage as a fire mage would, no. That said, it probably won't hurt you too awfully much to be frost. Until it's time to do Hydross, at least. You'll be useful on A'lar, though.

Edit: Anobix and I are apparently have a psychic-link thing going on. Smiley: laugh
