I heard this mentioned in the shu halo server official forums. I've tried to stay way from cloth because it's loaded with spirit, lacks int and mp5. My priest mentioned considering cloth, but I'm reluctant. I'm under a lot of pressure I think to get up to 1600 healing. I'm at 1319 healing right now with 137 mp5 (187 with water shield). Our priest is always bragging about his almost 1700 healing. It's just hard to find time to run heroics when I spend all my time raiding. I did look in armory, and wrote down running ramps heroic and slave pens heroic (though I forgot to write down the exact items- but they are upgrades I do want). I still need a trinket, but it hasn't dropped from BM, and I still don't have lower city revered. Hard to find time to run slabs.
Any advice for the 1300 to 1600 push?

well wet got the prince. He's not a bad fight. He seems easy compared to netherspite who we can only get down to 70%. We got illhoof which seemed impossible last night, but not much progress on netherspite.
I got the ring on the prince fight which takes away about 200 mana and a little bit of spell crit but puts me at 1328 unbuffed healing and 142 mp5 (192 with water shield). I think my mana pool sucks because of my boots and legs. I don't think I could be main healer. Prince hits like a truck during phase 2. I was backup healing the tank. Then blades took me out, I reincarnated, then the priest went down and I barely had enough mana (already popped pot and used mana tide). And the tank actually died the same time as prince. So that just leaves nertherspie and nightbane (someone still has to do the quests before we can summon).

Your Intellect is to low, you should have higher stats for a guild that isn't farming Kara. It would be easier if your Guild had Kara on farm for the gear you have.
I can main heal Kara with my gear but am currently banned because I don't support the AK talent, but don't have the mana issues either. You will collect badges doing Kara but need some Heroics and gear drops to increase your stats.
3 drops from Heroic UB will get you a new Helm, legs and shield. Once you get the 60 badges for the Treads of the Life Path you could save for the legs, either way the UB legs is better til then.
Here is a link to mine, I did drop some mail to raise my healing up, but with my guild farming Kara I was able to do Kara with 1k healing and 8k mana.

Don't worry about it. As your overall gear level increases the desire to roll on cloth will fade, especially if your guild is progressing well (and more healing mail becomes available).
Also, don't be fooled. Regen, in the form of mana/5, is much more important than intellect. Mana from intellect is mana you get to spend once. Mana from m/5 is mana you get to spend over and over again. Intellect is only important in the shortest and sharpest of fights. After that, regen surpasses it.

What do you mean banned, your guild wont let you do kara cause your one of the few shaman that realized AK was a waste of points =P
I can not load your armory, but as soon as you get an epic weapon from kara, some kind of epic pants, bracers, and gloves, chant those, i had blues in all those armor slots, and once they went epic i chanted them and my healing seemed to go up pretty high, the badge gear deff makes stuff easier too.
Just keep runnin kara it aint that bad once you get it down it is easy, and nether spite is easy, you tanks are messin up or somethin, fights cake, but it depends on your guilds strat i guess.

next you should be picking up vindicators ringmail pieces to replace BLUE GEAR ONLY

For legs just wait for heart flame leggings from chest and socket em up
but for sure replacing your current blue mail pieces with pvp resto pieces is the best solution

Still looking for a LW to make living dragonscale helm, I have the mats ready to go except for Nether of course. And maybe I'll get the maiden mace drop. We can down the bosses for the T4 helm/gloves. maybe I'll get that (priest and druid got them so far) next few times around.
Looks like I need to run heroic underbog for the legs then. And yeah I do hope next week or soon the bracers, shield, mace, and T4 thingy will drop. I think my guild is doing pretty good clearing prince second week of raiding.

did heroic underbog. That kilt that drops seems more like a dps shammy. In fact, we ran with our guild elemental shammy and I let him have the kilt. Doesn't seem to have any mp5, and no specific healing damage. Does have 3 gem slots though, and int which I need for pants. Didn't notice any other drops on the instance list for resto shammies.
