like the subject says im new to being a warrior. i was hoping i could be given just a brief explanation of their style. such as, while looking at the talent trees and skills i can see many moves require certain stances. now (leaving protection out, i have a prot paladin) how often does a warrior find himself switching between battle and berserk to perform his abilities. and furthermore is the arms tree more battle and the fury more berserk. :) thanks a lot for all the help

It all depends on the player. I for one tend to stancedance alot to and form all three stances. And when it comes to which talenttree to focus on, you will probably get many answers. I lvld my warrior form 1-70 arms/prot specced (wanted last stand), but the majority suggests lvling in fury.

Although in endgame it changes. It depends on what you want to do. PvE as tank or DPS, or would you rather do PvP? I highly recomend the MS/fury build for PvP. fury for DPS PvE and of course Prot as Tank.

But you should check out the stickies ontop of the warrior forum. Enjoy your warrior :D

It certainly does depend a great deal on the player and the situation. My prot warrior tends to switch stances quite a bit in order to react to changing situations. Although I primarily run defensive stance in instances, I switch to battle for charge all the time. And I dual wield in berserk stance while questing.

In my opinion a warior needs to be comfortable in all 3 stances. Don't gimp yourself by thinking that since you are an Arms warrior you MUST be in battle stance. All of the stances have their uses...and sometimes even arms/fury warriors will find that switching to defensive stance was the deciding factor in a close fight.

Long story short...use all 3 stances
