OK guys i need alot of help

IM a 43 shammie and my server has a really low population
With very few healers and as ive been a dpser my whole wow career
I had to start healerng to get into groups because we could never find a healer so i specced resto and everthing and im getting groups.
But when it comes to night time are really early in the morning i quest to get an easy lvl up But i really kill slow because im resto and i need help what should i do when i hit 60 im going Elemental for sure but 43-60 ona server like this what specc should i go because i quest more then anything

O yeah and ive been wathcing Vids alot of Vids on elemental shammies and melle shammies

And form the looks of it i dont know what to go into later on in the game Resto sucks until u get ESBut other then that ive read arguments on Melee and elemental
SO just help a fellow shammie out

Just stay enhance or elemental to level. It's much easier and faster, and with a little help you should have no trouble healing instances under level 60. Also, if you're trying to level fast, doing instances is not the fastest way to do it. Just stick to questing til 60, then start running instances to learn how to heal, if that's what you want to do.

even as enh spec u can still heal, just get a bunch of good clothie stuff and a nice staff, and you can heal decently. not as good as resto but good enough no one will die.

Yeah I just healed my first instance yesterday on my 43 shammy. I started out putting points into resto but most of them I'm going to be putting into elem. Just that little extra helps, and I had no problem healing. Just remember to bring ankhs with you in case there is a wipe... even though unfortunately, from what I've read, the ankh has a 1 hour cooldown.

ya you dont need to be resto to heal instances level under 60.

back pre bc there was hardly a reason to even go deeper then 21 points into resto for healing.

Just try to keep up a set of gear for dps and a separate set up for healing

i would suggest going elemental, you can quest easier, and you can off/spec heal very nicely. I off/spec heal heroics sometimes but i have a healing set, but as elemental pre-outlands you wont even need a healing set. Just rely on your intellect and +healz

I had a hybrid spec so I can heal and level well.

I was enhance up till level 61. I skipped the last 2 tiers in enhance as they are more used to buff the party, not myself. And I'm not going to be doing dps in a party. I just put enough points in to get stormstrike. And I put like 15 points in resto. Fill our both first tier resto talents, and the talent to get 70% concentration on spell interrupts. In fact, I really wanted the 70% thing for solo questing as well. I was so sick of trying to heal myself when I got adds while questing as enhance.
