Cheat Death should stay bugged.Follow

#1 Jan 16 2008 at 3:05 PM Rating: Excellent
I somewhat dread what will happen to Sub in arena and pvp in general when they fix the cheat death bug.

Anybody else think it should stay that way?

I'm not even Sub myself, and I think it's a well needed 'buff'.

But then rogues are almost "IMMUNE TO MY MOONFIRESPAM!!!" (when they are almost dead that is)

Currently, it reduced damage taken by 99% instead of 90%, essentially making the rogue invicible for 3 seconds.

I've had a frostbolt crit on one for 31 damage. With normal CD, that would have been 310 and enough to finish off the 2% health he had left.

Subtlety Rogues are the reason I've gone back to Rending people. It's still up when Cheat Death wears off and you managed to CLoS/Evasion/Vanish away, sucker!

As to the OP, I dunno. I think Sub would be better off with that 'fixed' and then getting something more useful, though.

Agreed Rp, BUT...

It's a lot easier for Blizzard to not fix a bug than to give Sub Rogue what they need.

I say keep it the way it is...rogues need all they can to survive anyway, those sneaky bastards. I say keep the bug, but put all stuns (blind, kick, ks, gouge, etc.) on the same DR. =)

Why don't we just save them the trouble and all delete our rogues?

Geez.

near enough. i was farting around in /bg chat with one of the pugs early game, showing him my blackblade of shahram. thought for a moment i had it still on or something, despite the "MACE STUN!" that SCT popped up in front of my face right as i MS'ed the rogue.

Silly KT, you should know by now that anything that helps a rogue win is either bugged or Overpowered (overpowdered in your case Smiley: smile) Smiley: schooled

I take offense. I've not once, in my memory, bothered a healer.
I bother the tank.

Why delete it when one day it could be good again? For the time being I've shelfed my rogue though (and my wow account). It's actually a great feeling.

P.S.

I love how bugs that give the rogue an advantage are quickly "fixed", whereas one particular bug that disables our 5 min cooldown ability from working correctly has gone unchanged since released.
