I'm looking to do some upgrading via badges (I like heroics, and kara is nice too).

I guess my question is should I save up my badges for the 75 badge chest piece (Breastplate of the Stoic Guardian) or buy the Bracers of Ancient Phalanx. I'm only asking because I see the chest piece as a huge upgrade to any body pieces, whereas the bracers are so-so.

lemme know if you think the immediate upgrade is the better route, or if you think planning ahead for that huge piece at the end is the better idea.

well, if youre downing nightbane, the panzar'thar breastplate is a better tank piece for a warrior by far. however, if youre like my friend (incredibly unlucky at drops) then go for the heroic piece.

Im in this same situation. I have the enchanted adamantite breastplate and some blue 70ish bracers. They are the last 2 major upgrades I need. (pretty much everything else is nice)

If youre doing Kara, then hold out for the bracers that drop from Attummen. Its not like youre ever NOT going to kill him, so youll get a chance at them every week. Plus while youre doing that youll be getting badges for the other item.

Thats what im doing.
