Hi guys
Has anybody ever seen these drop in Shadow Labs, I have done this instance over 30 times not seen it once ... I'm now starting to think the leggings are a myth. The thing is, that though I can get better, I am now refusing to do any other instance until they fall into my little sweaty paws out of pure bloody mindedness.
So... I was interested (and of course bored at work) as to which other drops you think may be mythical.

Assuming an 8% drop-rate, the chance for not dropping in 30 runs is still over 8%. Nothing mythical about that.
Around 19% chance that it won't drop either in your next 20 runs.

I've killed Baron Rivendare about 87 times since TBC came out.
Still no mount.

First run. But the dagger didnt drop for 39 runs,
Basicly this is just the wonderful world of loot drops.

Think he was posting those as an alternative. They have a very high drop rate (I see them 2/3 times). The pants in Shadow Labs are both worse and harder to get. Shadow Labs on normal is harder and longer than heroic S.Pens.

Because the Midnight Legguards dropped for me this week while wearing the FLL, I asked myself the same question.
Looks like the FLL do slightly more DPS, but you miss the 30 stam. I decided not to spend around 300G on gems and leg armor for a minor (if any) upgrade.
But back to original topic: I wonder why people are running instances dozens of times for an item (Assassination Leggings), while they can buy something better (FLL) for 30G at AH.
Because they are shiny Set pieces from D3.

I haven't gotten assasination from shadow labs in god knows how many runs, still haven't gotten abacus from mech and I'm almost exalted with Sha'tar (1k left).
Keepers of time 11k revered and still no hourglass. I did mostly BM runs, not many durnhole ones. GRRRRRRRRRRRRrr
I have chest and helm of assassination set dropped tho. Also, in 5 kara runs, i now look like this :
