I have seen the new listing for bear and cat gear and it is a work of art. The time that goes into making the list must be significant.

My question -- is there a version that is interactive??

What I mean is I am currently above the +hit cap in kitty (still). What I would like to be able to do is enter in 0 for the +hit value so I will be able to find better DPS gear. What the current list does is take each item one by one, instead of all your gear.

Same goes for bear gear. I am at 418 def with above 100 resil. Either of these will give me the 2.6% crit reduction. If there was an interactive gear list, I could set either +def or +resil to 0 and find some other stats that would help for mitigation purposes.

Case in point -- just got the forestwalker kilt from heroic MT. Have the heavy clefthoof legs currently. Looked up on emmeralds list and the heavy clefthoof is above the kilt because of the extra +def(which i forgot about when i first looked). So I check for kitty stats and it was above my current set of kitty legs. Gemmed and slapped a nethercobra kit on there and viola -- new kitty legs. Then I started to think about the stats and something didnt feel right.

If I would have remembered to remove the +def coefficient the kilt is much better than the heavy clefthoof. In parties I am usually tanking, so I feel tht is most important. My old kitty legs were fine for solo questing and farming, but have been sold. So that was a few hundred G down the hole, but live and learn i guess.

No, there is no interactive version of Emmerald's list

You can try Toskks DPS Gear List Generator. It does what you want pretty well.

The emmereld list does give you a bit of what you are seeking. It is divided into high gear and not high gear for dps and tanking. I can't say for sure about the cat gear, but for tanking the high gear list assumes that you are already immune to crits, so it puts less value into defence and ressilience. That is why on the "low" list, you will see merciless head piece above T4, and on the high gear list they are reversed.

Ofc it would be nice to be able to control the variables to your need, and not just by those few. I would love to be able to get a list that assumes you are on the armor cap and crit immune. That would give agi and stam much higher values than the current list.
