I agree, I’m not going to quite the game over this. However, things like this have a cumulative effect. The more often Blizzard ticks off their players the better other games on the net start to look.
A friend at work plays the Lord of the Rings online game. From the things I’ve read and from what he’s told me I believe I’d enjoy playing that game. It has player housing! Woot! But I’ve not tried it because I’ve still been having fun playing WoW. I can honestly say that Lord or the Rings looks even better to me after Blizzard’s underhanded tactics. One day I’ll move on to a different game. And each time Blizzard does something like this that date will come all the sooner.
