I think this one depends a lot on your playstyle. If you stand still while fighting, then any more than 2 or 3 pts isn't worth it cause you'll still have the global cooldown. However if you move while fighting then 5 pts in this will give you one more spell you can cast while running.

If you PvP, being able to cast while running is great.

If your not PvP, then in certain bosses in later instances, where you need to be moving around, you can re-apply it during those times and keep your DPS up, while you wouldn't be able to if you had to stop to cast.

Just about any way you look at it though, it's a better choice than suppression. I mean a couple points in Supression can help, but 5 is way over the top.

Every warlock should have it. The less time you spend casting, and being targeted, the better.
I'm speced for Demonology, but I went farther down the Affliction tree to get Empowered Corruption. At 70, and with my +damage, my Corruption does around three times the base damage. Figure, that with Curse of Agnoy, is well over 4000 damage right there-- that's damage one could inflict without casting.

Agreed. Putting your first 5 talent points into Imp. Corruption is not a bad thing to do, even if you eventually plan on going into Demonology or Destruction.

You can never have too many instant cast spells. With COA and imp. corrpuption that gives us two insta-cast DOT's. Worth 5 points for any lock. No matter the spec.

Not 100% accurate. True destro builds dont even touch affliction anymore.

However, until you hit the 25% crit, 1K spell damage, 202 spell hit mark, you're not going destro.

Destruction, not destroction. Sorry, but it's a pet peeve of mine.

Also, pure Destruction Warlocks are dyslexic. How else do you explain that they clicked 'Warlock' instead of 'Mage'?
