Right now I'm using this chest

It's nice, Nightbane is not coughing up my chest... and I have 1st 25 man run this weekend.
After this weeks Kara, I'll most certianly have the 10 badges I need to get this.

Yes.... it has +healing. BUT it's a lot more armor, stamina (with gem options), 38 dodge.
Yes... I'll lose 23 block, and 3 def points (where I'm at 520 or something anyway), and lose the 30 str.
Don't get me wrong... I'm hoping Nightbane coughs up my Chest... but so far no dice, and this weekend is coming up.
Waste of badges, or a good investment?

Coming from a Jade-Skull, that would be a very big improvement. The Str, honestly, isn't going to have a noticable difference. The block rating likely won't have any either, since it shouldn't have any portion of making you uncrushable. The Stoic Guardian will be a very big upgrade in stamina, mitigation and avoidance. A bit lower threat but not by much.
If you get the chest from Badges, you might as well gem it real nice and just keep it. You could always try a ZA run. If you get the first boss down before the timer, you can get some pretty nice boots. Other than that everything else looks good.
