For leveling in PvE: I've found Fiery great for reasonably priced additional DPS. Around 25-30g on my server (proudmoore) for mats + small tip. After 50 (and you know you'll have a weapon for 10 levels or so) Crusader or Lifestealing for main and +15 agility off-hand are common but it really depends on if you can find mats for decent prices or have a very friendly guildie/friend.

Later in Outlands, see previous post.

What about on Rings? Whats the best enchant on the 2 rings? I mostly do PVP.
#7 Feb 06 2008 at 11:29 AM Rating: Default
Never knew there were enchants for rings...
#8 Feb 06 2008 at 11:34 AM Rating: Good
Yes, there are 2 that are good for a rogue. 1 is +4 All Stats and the other is +2 Weapon Damage. Which is better for a rogue tho. Im sort of leaning towards +4 to all stats.
#9 Feb 06 2008 at 11:37 AM Rating: Good
If I had to choose, I'd pick the all stats one as well. But that's just my opinion.

Head - Glyph of Ferocity
Shoulder - Greater Inscription of Vengeance(aldor exalted) slightly better than
Greater Inscription of the Blade(scryer exalted)
Back - 12 agi
Chest - +6 stats
Bracers - 24 AP
Gloves - 15 Agi
Legs - Nethercobra Leg Armor
Boots - Cat's Swiftness(except for any fight were you are 100% stationary, i.e. VR)
Rings - Unless you're daggers, go with stats(with daggers, the + weapon damage comes out slightly ahead)
#11 Feb 06 2008 at 12:11 PM Rating: Decent
Usually anything that has stamina, agility, AP, or strength. Not in that order though.

Legs - Nethercobra Leg Armor
Boots - Surefooted (PVP), Boar's Speed (PVE)

I actually forgot weapon enchants. /facepalm

Dual mongoose until you reach high level of armor penetration(tier 6 gear), then it's mongoose/executioner.

I thought the ring enchants were for enchanters only.

Isn't there multiple "Cenarion" reps (I though, like Cenarion Circle and Cenarion Expedition... may be completely off though)? Which one is it for the head?

EDIT : Nevermind I got it. Cenarion expedition

Also, where would you get the enchants for the AP for the bracers and gloves?

Boar's Speed needs to be taken off. It's either 12agi, or Cat's Swiftness, with CS being moderately better.

Why in god's name would you choose boar's speed over cat's swiftness OR dexterity for a PVE boot enchant?
#21 Feb 06 2008 at 12:45 PM Rating: Decent
Because 12agi is cheap compared to CS, at least on my server.

Paying 60g > 360g.

Edit: I think I misread your post...not sure though.

Noooo...I'm saying boar's speed is a bad PVE enchant and you would be better off with cat's swiftness or dexterity (12 agi).

Personally I don't see the need for the speed boost in PVE and would always go with 12 agi.

There is a thread by Aldriana on the EJ forums that is fairly in-depth discussing the issue, but the main contention is that normally we do a fair amount of movement during an encounter(save a few, like VR/Lurker). You gain more DPS by reaching your target faster, than having 6 more AGI.

Look at my armory for PvP enchants.

Only thing I'd change is Boar's Speed/Surefooted on my boots when I get new ones (s3).

So unless i am an enchanter i will not be able to get an enchant on my rings? And thank you for a list of the best enchants!
#26 Feb 06 2008 at 1:23 PM Rating: Good
Yeah, only an enchanter can get them...

Probably why I didn't even know there was an enchant... because I'm not that high of a level yet lol
